By expanding Bjelins sales organisation to Norway, Bjelin has now reached their target of having a presence in all Nordic countries. Bjelins pan-nordic sales organisation is tasked with bringing the latest flooring innovation, the hardened wooden flooring to the market for architects, special projects and building materials. With the new sales organisation in place, Bjelin aims for the Nordic wooden flooring market, estimated at twenty million square meters annually.
- Our ambition is to gain a strong position on all markets in the Nordic countries, says Nordic Sales Director Freddie Persson, who is leading the charge. Through a locally established sales organisation, we are able to increase the level of service and access for our customers in Denmark, Finland and Sweden.
The new revolutionary innovation, flooring made of hardened wood, is much sought after by environmentally conscious customers on the lookout for beautiful flooring at great prices. The collection is on display in Bjelins showrooms in Stockholm and Vantaa outside Helsinki, as well as in selected DIY-stores in the region. A new showroom in Gothenburg opens its doors this fall and next in line are Copenhagen and Oslo. On Bjelins home turf in Helsingborg, a new hypermodern logistical center and showroom with a flooring exhibition are being built. With capacity now increased in Bjelins new production facilities in Croatia, the new centralized warehouse becomes a strategic factor in securing and optimizing deliveries to customers in Denmark, Finland, Norway and Sweden.
Increased sales of hardened wooden flooring and long term demand for eco-certified wooden flooring and sustainable wooden interiors are the principal drivers of Bjelins investments. Wood has become a favorite for both residential homes as well as in commercial properties. Sales Director Freddie Persson explains that the market is currently undergoing a fundamental change with regards to materials and it is increasingly becoming a must for the customer to seek out eco-certified wooden products.
- We use more and more wood in our homes, commercial spaces and even in the construction of entire apartment buildings. Bjelins sustainable wooden flooring is a natural component of this trend, says Freddie Persson.
The hardened wooden floors are manufactured with the patented Woodura-technology, developed by sister company Välinge Innovation from Viken, Skåne in the south of Sweden. Bjelin gets its raw material from FSC-marked forests and is certified by Svanen from Sweden, to name some of the eco-certifications that Bjelin holds.
The entire Bjelin flooring range is available for end users through our e-commerce site www.bjelin.se as well through our certified Bjelin dealers https://www.bjelin.se/sv/dealers
