Can I prevent colour changes in my floor?

Wood is a natural material that gradually matures in colour when exposed to UV light, such as day light. This process cannot be prevented. The biggest change occurs shortly after installation, so it is beneficial not to cover the floor with rugs initially. And when you go on holiday for example, consider rolling up your rugs and let the floor underneath get some UV light.
