Bjelin is proud to announce that its hardened wood flooring – powered by patented Woodura® technology – has been recognised by Domus as one of the company’s most successful product launches in the last ten years.

Bjelin will present innovative flooring solutions at Habitare, one of the Nordic region’s leading furniture and interior design shows. At the event, taking place in Helsinki, Finland, from 10 to 14 September 2025, Bjelin will highlight two of its latest products: Woodura Herringbone 2.0 and Nadura Tiles.

Bjelin is excited to exhibit at The Flooring Show in Harrogate from September 21st to 23rd, 2025. This event highlights the latest innovations, making it the perfect platform for Bjelin’s more sustainable, high-tech wood flooring.

Bjelin has been honoured with the 2025 Negoce Trophy in the "Sustainable Construction Product Innovation" category, an award that recognizes the most innovative initiatives from manufacturers and distributors in the building sector. This prize, awarded annually by Négoce magazine, is a true benchmark for construction and trade professionals across France. This recognition highlights Bjelin’s commitment to offering flooring solutions that combine innovation, durability and environmental performance.

Eight recipients were awarded this year's business medals at the Swedish Royal Patriotic Society’s annual ceremony on 21 May at the House of Knights. Among them was Darko Pervan of Välinge Innovation and the Bjelin Group, honoured ‘for transforming the flooring industry with a clever invention and building a world-leading company’. HRH Prince Daniel presented the medals, and the nominating member was Hans von Stockenström.

Bjelin will showcase its sleek Scandinavian-designed flooring at Domotex Asia, one of the world's premier flooring exhibitions, which will take place in Shanghai from May 26–28, 2025.

Bjelin is excited to reveal its latest Scandinavian-designed flooring at the UK’s leading design event, Clerkenwell Design Week (CDW). The London-based event, from May 20th to 22nd, 2025, brims with creativity, innovation and excellence.

Bjelin’s Ogulin 1 parquet factory, owned by the company since 2016, will undergo restructuring to support future growth. The focus will be on expanding wood veneer production using Woodura® technology, a shift towards a more resource-efficient process that will primarily support the company’s upcoming furniture launch. The attached sawmill and pallet production will continue operations as usual.

Pervanovo Invest AB, the parent company of Bjelin industries in Croatia and Välinge Group in Sweden, has through its subsidiary Välinge Croatia signed an agreement to acquire 85% of the shares in the Croatian furniture company Spin Valis. The intention is to acquire 100% of the shares. The acquisition means that large-scale production and marketing of furniture with Välinge’s click technology can be achieved faster than originally planned and the availability of oak material will increase. The acquisition requires approval from the antitrust authorities. Spin Valis will be renamed Bjelin Spinvalis.

Bjelins vision is to become the world's largest and most sustainable wooden flooring company. The flooring production is partly powered by solar panels placed on the roofs of the facilities. The company from the south of Sweden, now ready for the next step, is investing heavily in solar power in its transition towards energy self-sufficiency.

Bjelin will counter the general scarcity of building materials that affects the construction and flooring industry by increasing the investments in its production capabilities. Russia’s war on Ukraine will undoubtedly create negative consequences for the industry by creating delays of construction projects.

Bjelin condemns the unprovoked Russian aggressions, a mockery of international law and a direct attack on democratic values.

With the acquisition of the wood processing plant Bjelin Spacva, located at the Spacva forest in Croatia, long term supply of oak, ash and capacity required for the production of click furniture is secured.

Bjelin’s parent company Pervanovo Invest AB, headquartered in Viken in southern Sweden, together with subsidiaries in Croatia has acquired 98 per cent of the shares in Zagreb-listed company Spacva.

The Pervan family’s Swedish company Pervanovo Invest AB with brands such as Välinge Innovation and Bjoorn Flooring, consolidates its flooring operations under a new business area – Bjelin.
