Can I sand a Woodura floor?

No, you cannot. Woodura floors – also known as hardened wood floors – are designed to never require sanding. The surface is produced using the patented Woodura technology, which makes it three times more resistant to impact compared with traditional wood floors. If your floor becomes worn over time, you can instead apply a new lacquer coating to refresh the surface. Please follow the lacquer manufacturer’s instructions.

Keep in mind that hardened wood floors can still develop scratches, just like traditional wood flooring. However, these can usually be treated or repaired, and individual planks are easy to replace – making it a cost-effective and sustainable solution.
