Modern flooring in a historic setting

The redesign of The Gunter Hotel blends historic Beaux-Arts architecture with contemporary interior design inspired by the hotel’s musical heritage. A key focus of the renovation was selecting flooring that respected the hotel’s historic character while enhancing the newly designed suites. “As a historic property, it was essential to maintain the integrity and identity of the original design while introducing new elements that felt intentional and elevated,” says hotel owner Jiwon Choi Song.
