Bjelin enters Italy with Fast Wood partnership

Bjelin has formed a strategic partnership with Fast Wood, a well-established flooring distributor in Italy, marking a strong entry into the Italian market. This collaboration, combining Bjelin’s innovative Woodura flooring with Fast Wood’s market expertise, creates new opportunities in a dynamic flooring industry.

“We chose to partner with Fast Wood because of their extensive network and deep experience in direct distribution to builder merchants,” says Simen Torstensen, Regional Manager Europe at Bjelin. “Their reach and reputation make them the ideal partner for expanding our commercial footprint – particularly within the hospitality sector, where we already have a large hotel project under discussion.”

Based in Milan, Fast Wood is a family-owned company owned and led by Paolo Nosenzo, specialising in high-quality wood flooring since 1991. With a well-established presence among architects, over 250 contractors across Italy, hotel chains in Italy and Germany and a retail network under expansion, Fast Wood will distribute Bjelin’s Woodura Planks and Woodura Herringbone.

Woodura flooring is made with the revolutionary Woodura technology, developed by Bjelin's sister company Välinge Innovation, making these wood floors three times stronger than traditional wood floors and more durable. This partnership will see Fast Wood promoting Bjelin’s products to architects, contractors, retail agents and consumers across Italy and beyond.
