Bjelin has started an exciting collaboration with Götenehus, one of Sweden's largest single-family house manufacturers. The strategic alliance marks an important milestone in the quest to improve housing quality for homeowners in Sweden.
As of September this year, Bjelin is the sole supplier of wood floors to Götenehus' villas and holiday homes, with the SKOGEN hardened wood floor as the standard choice. Made with the revolutionary Woodura technology, developed by Bjelin's sister company Välinge Innovation, the floors are three times stronger than traditional wood floors and more durable.
Bjelin and Götenehus are both committed to innovation, craftsmanship and delivering a high standard to their customers. Together, the two companies want to provide new homeowners with access to first-class, state-of-the-art flooring solutions that complement Götenehus' design.
“As the designated flooring supplier for Götenehus, we see this investment as a step towards elevating residential experiences,” says Bjelin's country manager for Sweden, Fredrik Hammarsten. “Just like Götenehus, our product is based on a consideration for raw materials, resources and people, and we offer a floor that fits every home. This partnership personifies our shared vision of delivering high quality to homeowners.”
“We are happy to expand the collaboration with Bjelin”, says Anders Blomqvist, product manager at Götenehus AB. “Being able to offer an exclusive and durable single-strip floor as standard, which is also environmentally friendly, is beneficial for both us and our customers.”
In Bjelin's hardened wood floors, 100% of the processing of the raw material takes place in direct connection to the forest. SKOGEN has the Nordic ecolabel Svanen, meaning it’s tested for a good indoor environment. Bjelin's hardened wood floors also ensure more flooring from less raw material, which is good for the environment, the climate and homes.
In addition to the classic hardened wood floor SKOGEN, which has a lovely natural shade, homeowners can also customise, choosing from a variety of different-sized hardened wood floors or a wide range of Bjelin herringbone parquet.
With over 90 years of experience, Götenehus is one of Sweden's largest single-family house manufacturers that promises built-in care. From the design and feel of the house, to the well-planned, functional and well-thought-out layouts, they are by their customers' side from idea to finished home. All the houses are designed by architects and maintain a high standard and quality. Götenehus AB is a wholly owned subsidiary of Götenehus Group AB whose shares are listed on First North, which is part of Nasdaq Stockholm.
Bjelin is part of the Pervanovo Invest AB group and develops, as well as manufactures, a broad product portfolio of both traditional wood floors and innovative floors in new materials. The development is done in collaboration with sister company Välinge Innovation AB, best known as the inventor of the click floor. The production takes place in its own ultra-modern factories in Sweden and northern Croatia, where Bjelin has access to high-quality FSC-certified raw wood material as well as experienced employees who have worked for generations refining the well-known Slavonian oak.
